10. FN-2199 - The Force Awakens

Stormtroopers so often are depicted as being absolutely awful at their jobs. From the opening moments of 1977's Star Wars: A New Hope, it was soon established that these soldiers of the Empire make awful decisions and can't aim a blaster correctly.

In the more recent sequel trilogy we have seen a slightly more competent stormtrooper shown, however, and one of the most badass of the bunch was The Force Awakens' FN-2199.

Making a lasting impression during his one major moment on screen, audiences got to see FN-2199 - nicknamed TR-8R and Nines amongst Star Wars fans - angrily turn his attention towards John Boyega's Finn. Opting to discard his own his blaster and shield, FN-2199 confronts the former friend and colleague who he now labels a traitor.

Not only does FN-2199 set his sights on the lightsaber-wielding Fin, but he actually gets the better of his rival. Unfortunately for FN-2199, though, he was taken out just as he was about to finish off Finn, courtesy of a bowcaster-wielding Han Solo.
