10 Bad Movies That Prove Nostalgia Is For Idiots

4. The Super Mario Bros. (1993)

Bob Hoskins and John Leguizamo starred in the big-screen version of The Super Mario Bros. At the time a Mario movie must have seemed like a logical step (due to the popularity of the video games.) In retrospect the movie is just odd. As a kid, the game had nothing to do with the game but you didn€™t care; IT€™S A-MARIO!As an adult you realized that you were a HUGE Super Mario fan to put up with this monstrosity of a film. Though, in fairness the movie was pretty bold to bring the most popular video game characters of the time to the big screen. It really could have gone either way. Personally, I would love to see the Mario Brothers back on the big screen in some way shape or form.
