10. Harrison Ford

Best known for piloting the Millennium Falcon in the Star Wars movies, Han Solo actor Harrison Ford is actually a qualified pilot in real life too, capable of controlling both planes and helicopters. On several occasions, the star has used his piloting skills to save lives as part of search and rescue efforts in the state of Wyoming and the surrounding area.

Back in 2001, for instance, Ford flew his Bell 407 helicopter over Yellowstone National Park to save a teenage boy scout who had gotten lost in the area. Only a year earlier, the Indiana Jones star had performed the same feat, saving a stranded hiker who had succumbed to dehydration while climbing a mountain.

Ford has downplayed his role as a real-life hero but has regularly volunteered for search and rescue missions and is always available should the Teton County Sheriff's Department have need of him. If ever you get lost in Wyoming, Han Solo himself might be the one to come and rescue you.
