10. The Three Musketeers (2011)

Mads Mikkelsen may have made an above-average Marvel villain out of Kaecilius, but he took a rare undeniable paycheck role in Paul W.S. Anderson's rancid 2011 action adventure flick The Three Musketeers.

Mikkelsen plays legendary douchebag Captain Rochefort, and to his credit, brings the requisite menace, though he's saddled with a mostly generic script and forced to act within unconvincing green-screen locales.

Anderson unsurprisingly makes a mess of Alexandre Dumas' beloved source material, and aside from the occasional moment of campy self-awareness, it's basically an overblown, effects-driven catastrophe.

It's only a blip on Mikkelsen's highly consistent filmography, so he gets away with it. Plus, who even remembers this movie?
