The Crime? The serial killer always proves to be one step ahead of the detectives as the final whats-in-the-box sequence indicates. Why Is It Great? Seven is one of those films which horrifies you but which you cant avert your eyes from. The partnership of Morgan Freemans cerebral veteran cop versus the hot-headed Brad Pitt may be a little cliché but lends itself to a few laughs amid all the horror of the crimes on screen. David Finchers superb thriller combines gritty, grimy visuals with an unpredictable narrative to make sure people will continue to come back to Se7en for a long time.
