Malificent gets the award for worst party pooper in history. She doesnt get invited to a birthday party, and what does she do? She promises to kill the birthday girl! Is it any wonder that the king and queen didnt want to invite her in the first place? After throwing up a barrier of thorns in Phillips way, Malificent decided to deal with her problem personally. She morphed into a massive, firebreathing dragon. And Prince Phillip, armed with nothing but a sword, a shield, and three fairies, managed to take her down. The firebreathing dragon was so popular and so cool, that Disney has inserted it into their brand whenever possible. It was the climax of their Disney On Ice show, and its still the end of their theme park show Fantasmic! Malificents death was magnificent; the evil fairy looked powerful, rather than weak, in her final moments. The dragon screamed. The rocks collapsed.
