10 Best Female Characters In The Marvel Cinematic Universe

4. Scarlet Witch

Real talk here: if they had to kill off one of The Twins in Age of Ultron (and they probably did, because origin stories and character arcs and all that), thank heavens/Stan Lee it was Quicksilver. Sure, Pietro was fine and running very fast is great but he was nowhere near as brilliantly weird and cool as Elizabeth Olsen's leather-clad villain-turned hero, Scarlet Witch (also known as Wanda Maximoff). Given that she spent most of the film on the bad guys' side, we only got glimpses of what Scarlet Witch can do in Ultron. But on that brief promise she should develop into someone even more awesome over her next appearances; she can not only read thoughts but manipulate them, as well as move objects with her mind. And all that before we get to the whole "blasts light from her hands" business. Pretty impressive.
