10. The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997)

The Lost World is nowhere near as iconic as the original, and in many ways, not even as good as Jurassic World, but seeing the T-Rex stomp around the streets of San Diego was an incredible visual, and for those scenes alone this film is worth a revisit. That and the fact Jeff Goldblum stars in it.

Though the film-stealing-scene involving the T-Rex doesn’t take place until towards the end, it is more than worth the wait. Easily one of the most memorable moments in the entire franchise, it recalls classic monster movies such as King Kong and Godzilla for sheer spectacle.

If the end of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is anything to go by then we should be getting plenty more city-roaming dinosaurs in the near future, which is a very exciting prospect indeed.
