5. Samuel L. Jackson Gets Squished

In revenge for his men being killed, Packard hatches a plan to blow Kong up. Though he manages to set Kong briefly alight, Kong retaliates by crushing him with his giant fist before Packard can detonate the explosives planted in the vicinity.

Whether or not you knew that you always wanted to see Samuel L. Jackson get punched into a bloody mist by a massive CGI creature, you almost certainly did, and what an awesome moment this was.

You can appreciate Packard's motives, but going up against Kong like this only ever had one likely outcome.
