10 Best Teen Comedies Of The Decade
10. The DUFF
Based on the YA novel by Kody Keplinger, The DUFF surprised readers by deviating from the serious tone of its source material and instead fully going for a comedic wacky tone. The result is incredibly silly at times, but for anyone along for the ride, The DUFF proves to be a funny and ultimately rewarding experience.
While it certainly won't win over anyone who can't stand teen comedies, it does just enough to please anyone who loves them. It also benefits a lot from the natural charisma of both its leads, Mae Whitman and Robbie Ammel.
The DUFF doesn't revolutionize teen comedies in any way, but its charms are more than enough to overshadow its familiarities.
