10 Big Movie Franchises Chris Pratt Can Try Next

10. Indiana Jones

Okay, let's deal with the obvious contender first. Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull had a lot of great moments but it also had Shia LaBeouf. Any attempt to hand over the baton to a younger generation failed and sadly fans associate the fourth Indiana Jones movie with Mutt Williams and a nuked fridge. While Indy marrying Marion Ravenwood served to bring some closure to his story there is always hope that Harrison Ford will don the Fedora one more time. After all, he is already revisiting old classic roles like Han Solo and Rick Deckard so why not one last outing for Indiana Jones?

But Disney, who now own the rights to Indiana Jones, won't be content with one film. While Ford may be up for a fifth go, he will unlikely be prepared to go for rounds six, seven, eight and nine - which any success would naturally dictate. The obvious choice then is to reboot. Arguably Chris Pratt has the charm and physique to take on a new interpretation of Indiana Jones, something Stephen Spielberg agrees with. In February of this year he was quoted as saying he would direct the fifth movie if the script was good and Pratt took on the leading role.

Pratt has previously said it would be "awesome opportunity" to play Indy. Perhaps then it is a question of when rather than if he will don the famous fedora.
