After the waking nightmare that was Jar Jar Binks in The Phantom Menace, its a relief to see that he gets so little screen time in Attack Of The Clones and for those who hated him in the first prequel, its reassuring to see that his gormless blunders are responsible for the clones rising in the first place. Tricked by Palpatine he of the eeeevil curled lip, eeeevil baleful stare and eeeevil sneering voice into bringing a vote to the senate to allow the clone army to be brought to bear to fight off the separatists, Binks is therefore directly responsible for the Clone Wars, which is a bad thing on such a colossal scale that it makes other bad things look like sleeping kittens.
