A feature film adaptation of the popular and successful Bioshock videogame series has been a possibility for some time now, though Ken Levine pulled the plug on it a little over a year ago. Now, it looks like things may be moving forward again, as Joystiq.com reports that Sony Pictures has registered three web domains related to the Bioshock franchise: bioshock-movie.com, bioshock-movie.net, and bio-shock.net. So, it appears that Sony is at least considering a film adaptation, and buying up the domain names just in case. It's something we see all the time in Hollywood, so it's certainly not confirmation, but it's a start.
