The fourth film in the Underworld franchise came out only two years ago; but according to THR, Lakeshore Entertainment is already prepping a reboot. Tom Rosenberg and Gary Lucchesi will produce along with Len Wiseman, who directed the first two films of the series (and is married to its star, Kate Beckinsale). A writer for the reboot is already in place, in the form of Priest and The Last Witch Hunter scribe Cory Goodman. Details about the film remain scarce, though some reports suggest that it won't be a reboot at all, but will actually be a continuation of the original films, focusing not on Beckinsale's character, but on her daughter Eve. Regardless of the direction the "reboot" may take, Beckinsale is unfortunately not expected to return.
