This has been quite the week for movie and television news, as we've been given a lot to talk about regarding some of the most hotly-anticipated upcoming properties, spin-offs, and series. Things slowed down a bit in mid-May, as the networks all began announcing their various cancellations, renewals, and pick-ups for the fall TV season. Now, that stuff's all taken a backseat to some big blockbuster fare, as the major studios have kept us busy with casting updates and film announcements. On the superhero side of things, we've got Spider-Man, Batman vs. Superman, X-Men, and Ant-Man news to share, some of which is exciting, while there's one heartbreaking story in there as well. I'll let you sweat about which one is which. Elsewhere, Quentin Tarantino, Alfonso Cuaron, and Steven Soderbergh have been looking into their next projects, which include a miniseries, a Harry Potter spin-off, a prequel to The Shining, and a film in which Channing Tatum takes his clothes off.
