10 Characters For Marvel Studios To Explore The Supernatural

10. Moon Knight

Marvel's Netflix shows have consistently been the best aspect of the MCU, with very few low points among a sea of really high ones. The long-form storytelling combined with gritty characters and landscapes has been a real treat to watch. And one character who continuously appears on fan wishlists for future shows is none other than Moon Knight.

Sometimes described as Marvel's Batman, Moon Knight actually has a supernatural connection. He first appeared in one of Marvel's horror comics, Werewolf By Night, and his origin is that he was saved from certain death and granted abilities by Khonshu, one of the Egyptian gods.

Beyond his origins, Moon Knight has often come into conflict with the supernatural in his adventures, more so than Daredevil has been and presumably more than Iron Fist will. Play up those elements of the character and combine a good dose of the multiple personalities Marc Spector has to deal with, and you've got the makings of what could be the most unique superhero tale in years.

Given Moon Knight's mental instability, there's also enough room in there to keep viewers guessing at the beginning whether or not he's actually been resurrected by some Egyptian moon god or if he's just completely nuts.
