6. The Kentucky Fried Movie

This movie must have been fun to try to put a trailer together for. The film is a collection of raunchy and very funny skits; it€™s really a long Saturday Night Live episode. In other words, there€™s no real story to draw from to put a trailer together. What to do? Well, the intention of a trailer is to let you know what you€™re in for when you enter the theater, and, when it comes to a comedy, one of the goals should be to let you know just what kind of comedy this movie is striving for. This trailer does just that, giving us a sampling of some of the raunchy and silly comedy that this movie builds itself on, and we€™re guided on this journey by some stiff film director who thinks this movie is the greatest he€™s ever seen. It is hilarious stuff, and, by the end of the trailer, you know just what kind of movie The Kentucky Fried Movie is. Nice little grandmothers need not seek admission.
