8. Galactus (Fantastic Four: Rise Of The Silver Surfer)
Galactus: Devourer of Worlds. The Hunger That Does Not Cease. Giant Space Cloud? Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer had more than its fair share of issues, but the writers must be commended for at least attempting to adapt the classic Silver Surfer story arc. If done right, this could have banished all memories of the embarrassing first film out of audiences minds but sadly, this was never meant to be. Alongside Dr Doom, the giant cosmic entity Galactus is one of the definitive Fantastic Four villains. Now, he may not an easy one to adapt but seriously? A giant space cloud? What's the point of even attempting to portray such an iconic character if it can't be done right? Instead, the writers copped out with some CGI smoke, prompting disheartened fans in cinemas worldwide to just sigh and eat more popcorn to make the pain go away.
