4. Golden Gate Bridge - X-Men: The Last Stand (2006)
After Bryan Singer opted not to return for the third installment, Brett Ratner took over the reins of the X-Men franchise and delivered a movie that featured several solid action scenes, but was woefully short on such trivial matters as character development and an interesting script. However, The Last Stand did deliver one of the best set-pieces in the franchise's history with Magneto's impromptu Feng Shui of the Golden Gate Bridge. Seeking a route onto Alcatraz, Magneto decides to take a shortcut and levitates the entire 8,981 feet in order to achieve his goal. Despite the many criticisms people have of this underwhelming final chapter to the original X-Men trilogy, there is no denying the jaw-dropping spectacle that this sequence delivered. A truly epic moment in a disappointing movie, it remains one of the most memorable scenes across the entire seven-film franchise.
