10 Comic Book Movies DC MUST Announce Next

10. Harley Quinn

One of the few genuine successes of the DCEU has been Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn. The character stole the show in Suicide Squad and is set to steal the Birds of Prey from Batgirl in the upcoming movie based on the female-led super-team.

From the Birds of Prey trailers, and the fact that the film's full title is 'Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)', it's clear that Quinn is the protagonist. Which begs the question... why didn't DC simply make a Harley Quinn movie instead?

It's far too late to completely rebrand BOP as a solo outing, so instead of cramming Quinn into another ensemble piece, the next big screen story she should appear in after Birds and James Gunn's Suicide Squad should be one that's totally focused on her.

The character is clearly popular enough to make it work, and Margot Robbie is evidently talented enough to carry a movie by herself. All in all, it's quite surprising that this hasn't already been announced.
