DC have done it with Steel and Image have done it with their only movie in Spawn, but Marvel - the most prolific comic book company by far in terms of the number of live action movies they've produced - are yet to release a movie in which the titular star was a black character. That, on top of the fact that Black Panther is an extremely popular and interesting character, makes it incredibly hard to believe that Marvel haven't put out a movie about the Wakandan superhero yet. Of course, that will be rectified in 2017, when T'Challa's movie arrives - starring Chadwick Boseman - as part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Phase 3 slate of films, but it still should have been made already - particularly as guys like Wesley Snipes have been trying to get the project off the ground for more than twenty years.
