2. Thanos

Due to the long and storied history of the character, there is plenty for Marvel to draw on if they were ever to give Thanos his own movie, and despite only having one big appearance in the MCU (so far), Josh Brolin has provided audiences with a surprisingly emotional, yet very faithful, portrayal of the mad titan, making him a great candidate for a solo film.

In terms of stories that would make great adaptations, Thanos has a vast selection of wonderful tales to draw on, ranging the from the many Infinity arcs and also the brilliant Jeff Lemire and Donny Cates stories that see Thanos strike out on his own in a (somehow) more cosmic setting.

It fits the route that MCU Phase 4 is supposedly taking, and with Thanos now one of the most popular characters in Marvel's library, don't rule out further appearances from the Mad Titan further down the line.
