2. Megan Fox - Transformers
Whilst Shia LaBeouf had to go to great lengths to score a part in Nymphomaniac, Michael Bay didn't take nearly as much convincing that Megan Fox was right to play Mikaela Banes in Transformers; he plucked the young actress from obscurity, and didn't even audition her.
He did however, reportedly ask her to wash his Ferrari. Because this was a formal audition though, he made sure to film it, of course. Bay later admitted to Fox that he didn't know where that footage ended up.
It was to be the start of a huge public fallout between her and the sleazy director, who she labelled a "socially awkward Hitler", before the "Loyal Transformers Crew" posted a long open letter on the director's website, insulting her acting and her intelligence.
Megan Fox was replaced by Victoria's Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whitely for the third instalment of the series. One can only imagine what she was asked to do in her audition...
