10 Crazy Stories Warner Bros Needs To Tell In The DC Movie Multiverse

10. Superman & Batman: Generations

Like it or not, Batman and Superman are bound to remain a focal point of stories told in the DC Extended Universe for a long time to come. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice paired them up on screen for the first time, and the results were mixed, so a story like this one could go a long way in reinventing their relationship in a standalone feature.

Superman & Batman: Generations kicks off in 1939, with each issue jumping ahead by a decade to pick up in the lives of the Man of Steel and Caped Crusader. As Clark Kent barely ages, Bruce Wayne is forced to send his wards into battle as new Dark Knights in his absence.

As you might expect, the relationship between the two heroes changes a lot over the years, and a movie - or limited series on HBO Max - exploring the way these two evolved over the decades (kicking off in a period setting) would be undeniably weird, but a tale it might be easy to become invested in.

Multiple actors could play Batman and his Robins, while a new Superman actor could make a huge impact, and potentially open the door to future adventures without the Dark Knight.
