10 DC Villains Who Need Their Own Standalone Film

10. Two-Face

It didn't take long for this rumour to begin circulating the internet after Joker's unprecedented success. Some sources are reporting that Warner Brothers' second attempt at a standalone villain film may be another of Batman's most famous adversaries, Two-Face.

On paper, this makes perfect sense. The gritty character study style that Joker used would fit perfectly with a deranged Harvey Dent coping with his obsession with duality and the unpredictable nature of chance would create some chillingly tense sequences across the film.

As a bonus, there are further rumours that this version of Harvey Dent may exist within the same universe as Matt Reeves' Batman trilogy, meaning that if his film were successful, he may get to prove his worth against Batman himself, which Joaquin Phoenix's Joker may sadly never do.

As for who would play him, various names have been suggested but perhaps the best choice would be Jon Hamm (a man who once voiced his desire to play Batman himself), who has proved time and time again that he's a captivating leading man. With a character as complex as Dent, this may be Hamm's best opportunity to nab an Oscar and please the DC fans while doing it.
