How He Died
As your broken heart no doubt remembers, Peter Parker died in Tony Stark's arms after Thanos clicked his fingers. Rather distressingly, his Spider Senses seem to have given him fair warning of exactly what was happening, leading to him begging for his life. What a cheerful, family-friendly movie that was.
But Wait...
If he's dead, how exactly is he not dead in the Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer? Let's all be honest here, the Infinity War ending was undone the second Far From Home was announced, which was well before anyone even saw Infinity War.
It was basically part of the announcement that Spider-Man was coming home to the MCU that he'd be appearing in at least one sequel (and most likely two), so we knew he wasn't going to die permanently before then.
Will It Be Explained?
As the major plot issue in Endgame, of course it will.
