10 Delightfully Dark Christmas Movies

4. Jack Frost

You know how horrifying the Frosty cartoon was, with the lovable snowman who befriends all the little children but is doomed to become nothing more than a puddle as soon as the sun shows its face? So, imagine that all of that still happened, but instead of it just being some random snowman you barely know, it's actually your recently deceased father. Yeah...that's what we're dealing with. In Jack Frost, a little boy loses his father in a snowstorm, but thanks to the power of a magical harmonica (yes, seriously) he is brought back to life as a talking snowman. But just long enough to teach the kid some Valuable Life Lessons. Then he has to go back to heaven. And as nice and fluffy as it is to see Michael Keaton (what was he thinking?) get one last chance to bond with his son, it's hard to ignore the fact that small children losing their parents in tragic accidents aren't exactly the stuff that family Christmas movies are made of.
