Who She Was

Though she was never really in the same league as the other actors on this list, Jean Sincere was instantly recognisable to a younger generation of TV viewers thanks to her role as the librarian on Glee. It came as the crowning moment on a career of bit-parts and supporting roles in TV and film.

She died aged 93 after her last role on Disney show iCarly.

Role: Mrs. Hogenson

She might not be a memorable name from the superhero cast, but Mrs Hogenson played a huge part in the narrative. She was the old lady that Bob Parr points in the right direction to exploit an insurance loophole. It's a small part, but this is Pixar and no small character matters any less.
