10 Dumbest Character Resurrections In Star Wars History
10. Ahsoka Tano
Ahsoka Tano, the padawan who lived. One of the all-time favourite characters that actually has the screen time to back it up.
Despite now being in the good graces of many Star Wars fans, her initial reception was like the inside of a Tauntaun (lukewarm) at best. Introduced during the Clone Wars animated film as Anakin's plucky young student, she would eventually grow into her own over the course of the six seasons.
She showed up in season three of Rebels and acted as a mentor to Kanan and Ezra before dueling with her former master, Darth Vader. Her fate was left on a cliffhanger as the result of their battle was left offscreen.
It wasn't until much later when Ezra discovered the World Between Worlds which allowed him to travel through time. After seeing Ahsoka struggle, he was able to pull her through a rift, saving her life. This suggests that without intervention, Ahsoka would have indeed lost her fight with Vader.
What makes this dumb is the context of which she is brought back. It deemed her sacrifice meaningless, as the very idea that bringing her back would be fine neutralises the meaning behind what happened.
