10 Embarrassing Thoughts We All Had Watching Famous Movies

10. Pondering What Deviant Acts You'd Be Committing - Groundhog Day

When the horror film The Purge was released last year it asked a relatively straightforward question. What would you do if you could get away with any crime? Would you rob, kill€ or stay in the house and watch Real Time with Bill Maher? Well the majority of us pondered this very question nearly two decades ago when we first watched Harold Ramis€™ 1993 comedy classic Groundhog Day. The story, of course, follows Bill Murray as Phil Connors, an arrogant and self-centered Pittsburgh TV weatherman who, during an assignment covering the annual Groundhog Day event in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, finds himself in a time loop, repeating the same day again and again. The possibilities were endless but sadly, since the film was PG-13 we didn't really get a proper representation of what a real person would do if they were stuck in that situation. Sure some mild hi-jinks ensued - he stole a truck, he took the cops on a car chase, etc - but let's be honest, any one of us would have taken things a lot further and darker. There is no need to get into further specifics. You know the demented things you'd be doing in this situation... you sicko!
