10 Essential Marvel Teams Not Yet Used In The Movies
10. Heroes For Hire
Already, the Defenders have made a splash in their Netflix TV series, but Heroes for Hire is a different animal entirely. Seeing Misty Knight take centre stage, along with Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Colleen Wing, and other down-to-earth street heroes, come together to make superheroing a profitable business venture, would be something audiences haven't yet seen in the MCU.
For the most part, being a superhero has been a pro bono side hustle that these characters have taken up either alongside or in lieu of their actual jobs, and having them turn their heroics into their actual jobs would make for the entertaining mix of realism and camp that the MCU ought to milk. It also provides the opportunity to bring in new players, supers and metahumans who didn't have the motivation to go out and help people before it got monetised.
Questioning the morality of doing specialised good deeds for money would provide some gravitas and even some humour to the whole situation. It's the perfect follow-up to the team-ups of Netflix heroes past, and something fans have been waiting for since Misty quit the police force. Hop to it, Marvel!
