2. The Enforcers

A trio of slightly crap thugs? Essential? Well yes, Spider-Man is about more than just glamorous supervillains, and the Enforcers have been there from the start, consisting of Fancy Dan (martial artist), Ox (really strong) and Montana (loves a lasso), and later Snake Maston (contortionist) and Hammer Harrison (boxer).

No-one's suggesting that the Enforcers should headline a movie by themselves, but Spidey needs someone to beat up during the first half!

First coming to prominence in a Green Goblin/Hulk crossover and the second arc of Ultimate Spider-Man, the Enforcers make for great web-fodder and a taster threat before the 'real' villain emerges. What's more, they'd make a perfect fit for the tone as established in Homecoming.
