10. Kraven The Hunter

News of a solo Kraven movie has been mooted by Sony for their fledgling none-Spidey Spider-Man universe, but what good is a hunter without his prey?

Although Kraven the Hunter hardly presents the same level of threat or iconicism as the Green Green Goblin or Doctor Octopus, he remains one of Spidey's most persistent and interesting foes. He should go down in history for his terrifying antics in Kraven's Last Hunt alone.

For the uninitiated, this classic story sees Kraven finally manage to capture Spider-Man, not killing him but burying him far underground, Kill Bill style, and running about the city in his (then black) spider-duds. While this might prove rather upsetting for fans of Tom Holland's little doe-eyed, vulnerable web-slinger, it'd make for one to consider if the MCU want to go 'darker' with a future sequel. Or just go for the cheap laugh, with Ultimate Spider-Man's 'one punch' gag.
