10 Famous Actors Who Literally Do The Same Thing In Every Movie
If Brad Pitt's eating, it's probably because he saw a camera.
Being an actor -- let alone a good or great one -- is hard work, because by definition it forces you to step into a shoes of an entirely different person.
But that doesn't mean an actor is totally impervious to bringing their own quirks and personality traits into a role or two, or getting into habits that over their career have become something of a trademark. Whether it helps them with nerves or get into the scene, some actors do things they can't seem to stop on-screen.
From actors who always play the same character or do a particular mannerism whenever a scene calls for heightened emotions, to stars who have made an entire career out of one or two defining characteristics, the following actors all do strikingly similar things in almost every movie they make.
With that in mind, then, here are 10 actors who can't seem to drop certain traits, regardless of the character they're portraying. (Just know that I bring most of these up with nothing but respect.)
10. Harrison Ford Likes To Point
In one of the most famous instances of an actor who has a noticeable trait, Harrison Ford has spent a large portion of his career pointing angrily at his co-stars.
From the Indiana Jones series to Star Wars, The Fugitive to Witness and beyond, Ford has put away countless iconic and brilliant performances, the vast majority of which feature at least one big scene where he's intensely staring at someone and pointing at them (almost always with the same finger).
Brilliantly, Ford is very aware of his continuous pointing. In 2013, Conan O'Brien showed the actor a reel of all the times he's done it, and Ford found it hilarious. He's never offered any explanation about it, though. A personal quirk, acting technique or something else entirely? Who knows, but it's clearly working for him!
