Okay, calling Kim Kardashian an "actress" might be a bit of a stretch, but Kim has certainly tried dipping her toes in the acting pool long before she tried to release her first single. "Jam (Turn It Up)" was released in 2010 and was very quickly critically panned, mainly because Kim just can't sing very well. Incredibly auto-tuned and with a bevy of unimaginative lyrics, it's fair to say that the critics weren't exactly kind to her. In a way though, it was something of a harsh criticism; Kardashian herself said that she had no plans to ever make an album, admitting that it was just "good fun". Not only that, but half of all the proceeds of the song were to go to cancer charities, making it something of a noble effort - if slightly painful on the ears.
