Proof that money isn't everything as this series proves, that despite being able to boast being the most successful video-game adaptation of all time, it's still morally bankrupt lowest common denominator nonsense. Every film is more or less the exact same and the recent conversion to 3D has done nothing to boast the reputation of the critically derided franchise. The lifespan of characters vary depending on how close they are to their video-game counterpart and the series has been retreading the same ideas for over a decade. Characters escape from a structure, break into one or simply wait inside a building for various monsters from the video-games to come and get them. Despite trying to bring back the original audience with the reintroduction of Michelle Rodriguez and co from the original movie, it's safe to say that people have stopped caring a long time ago.
