The three kids are implicated in the crime and point the finger at her, wearing a wire to cause her to admit to her part in the murder on tape. Suzanne goes free, and to ensure that no stain remains on her reputation, fabricates a story to the media about Larry being a secret drug dealer, and having been murdered by his peers in the trade. The stage is set for her ambitions to be realised, as she€™s successfully painted herself the victim, and her dead husband as just another culprit. Of course, she€™s not to know that her father-in-law will twig that she€™s lying upon watching her interviewed on the news, or that he€™ll have the mob connections necessary to simply have her killed in her turn.
