3. A Dubious Farewell To Tom Holland's Spider-Man?

One of the biggest unanswered questions surrounding No Way Home's release is the status of star Tom Holland - namely, will this be his last ever outing as Spider-Man?

Holland recently confirmed that No Way Home completed his contractual obligations to the MCU, and when you also factor in the possibility of Marvel Studios and Sony coming to blows when they renegotiate the character's rights, this could be both the last MCU Spider-Man film and his last MCU appearance full stop.

Of course it may simply come down to Holland wishing to move on from the role, but given both his popularity and relative youth compared to prior screen portrayals of Peter Parker, it'd be a shame if he resigned so fast.

With the status of future Spidey movies up in the air, don't be surprised if the film ends on an ambiguous note which could act as a farewell for this version of Peter but also leave the door slightly ajar for future appearances.

It's extremely unlikely that Holland's Peter will die at the end of the film, but if there isn't a clear commitment to a future direction for the character, fans could be left feeling rather underwhelmed.
