6. Naomi Watts
Though Naomi Watts gave a memorable performance in last year's Twin Peaks revival, her movie work hasn't been so hot lately.
Since 2016, just one of her nine movies has been well-received - Chuck, co-starring her husband Liev Schreiber - while everything else has fallen upon deaf critical ears: Allegiant, Demolition, The Sea of Trees, Shut In, 3 Generations, The Book of Henry, The Glass Castle and Ophelia. That's without even mentioning the critically-panned Netflix series Gypsy, which was mercifully cancelled after a single season.
Watts has two Oscar nominations to her name and would probably have more with a better agent in tow, honestly, given that she's one of the most talented actresses of her generation. As for the future? None of her upcoming projects seem especially promising, sadly.
