10. Anna Gunn - Sully (2016)

Sully was a film destined to be made eventually, and Clint Eastwood probably gave audiences the best possible movie on the subject.

Telling the story of veteran pilot Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger (Tom Hanks), who saved over 150 airplane passengers by landing in the Hudson River after a major engine malfunction, the drama recreates the crash landing and the subsequent media storm with relentless, entertaining energy.

Hanks and co-star Aaron Eckhart steal the show, whilst Breaking Bad alum Anna Gunn - also known as Skyler White, Walt's flawed and exploited wife - turns up in a supporting role as Dr Elizabeth Davis, who helps investigate Sully's last-minute actions.

Regardless of the historical liberties taken with her character, Gunn gives a solid antagonistic performance, and is one of the many great aspects that makes Sully such a suspenseful and enthralling thriller.
