10. Inhumans

The Phase Four slate that Kevin Feige originally laid out at San Diego Comic Con 2019 was radically different from what fans actually got. Thanks to the worldwide pandemic, and numerous production delays and reshuffles, everything was different.

Phase Three was also subject to change after Feige's announcement, in that it initially featured an Inhumans movie. Slated to debut between what was then Infinity War Part 1 and Part 2, the movie never actually released, ultimately being replaced by the TV series that is still to this day by far the worst thing the MCU has ever put out.

At this point in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the franchise just didn't miss, and it's hard to believe the studio would have taken such a popular property from the comics and made a poor movie. On the smaller platform, the TV show failed, but on the big screen and under the full spotlight, you have to believe that Inhumans would have been given the same treatment as any other MCU movie franchise.

The future of the Inhumans in the MCU is still unclear. Kamala Khan has been confirmed to be a mutant rather than an Inhuman in the franchise, and yet, the race has been confirmed to exist. Aside from their existence throughout Agents of SHIELD, Black Bolt's appearance in the Multiverse of Madness has potentially left the door open for an MCU future.
