10 Greatest MCU End Credits Scenes
3. Spider-Man: Far From Home
When it comes to the MCU's end credits scenes, you can take a couple of different directions. While some might aim to just cram in one extra joke for the hell of it, others take full advantage of the medium and keep the audience aching to see what the next movie is going to be like. Even though those are two exclusive ideas, Spider-Man: Far From Home is one of those few films that was able to accomplish both feats.
Throughout the movie, we have seen Pete try to move on from the events of Endgame, making his best attempt to live up to Tony Stark and carve out his own life as a normal teenager. Though he came close to giving up with Mysterio's drones towards the end, it seemed like everything was hunky dory once he meets MJ and they swing through the New York City skyline.
Then... the unthinkable happens when Pete's secret identity gets exposed to the entire world via a video Mysterio filmed just minutes before his death, making Spider-Man public enemy #1. What makes this even more shocking is the return of JK Simmons as J Jonah Jameson, as he brings the same barking tone that we loved him for in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man films of the early-to-mid 2000s.
It's a major shift in the status-quo, and one that's left fans particularly excited for the third Spider-Man movie to drop in 2021.
