Our first non-human decapitation (well, assuming that we class the alien imitating a human from the last entry as a human...) is a scene from an unlikely source - the hilarious Dumb and Dumber. When Lloyd Christmas picks up a suitcase containing ransom money, mistaking it as having been accidentally left behind by its owner, he and his friend Harry Dunne are unknowingly pursued by the thugs for whom the money had been left. The thugs - Joe "Mental" Mentalino and J.P Shay - turn up at Harry and Lloyd's house and, mistaking them for debt collectors, Harry and Lloyd flee quickly. The thugs enter and, wanting to send a message to the idiotic pair, Joe bites off the head of Harry's pet bird. In a hilarious scene later in the movie, after it is revealed that Lloyd had sold the dead bird (with head taped back on, nonetheless) to a local blind kid, the audience watch on laughing as the young boy strokes the dead pet whilst repeating the words "pretty bird".
