In The Goose-Girl, a princess is bullied by her own servant girl into exchanging clothes, jewellery and horses, to the point where the princess betrothed mistakes the servant girl for the princess, and sends the real princess out to tend geese. If this doesnt sound too gruesome to you, keep in mind the trick is discovered by the King. He asks the fake princess what a fitting punishment would be for a hypothetical situation that just so happens to mirror hers. Her response? Strip the offending person naked, put her in a barrel studded with nails, and have the barrel pulled by two white horses through the streets of the kingdom until the person is dead. Well, she got her wish.
