The hero has defeated the villain. The guy and the gal have got together. The End. Expect it isn€™t really, is it? There are still the end credits of the movie to go. But, unless you€™re snogging someone€™s face off in the back row or waiting for another glimpse of Thanos, there isn€™t much point sticking around to watch them, right? Well, actually - wrong! Filmmakers tend to know that most audience members would much rather get home and get in bed than witness a list of names and baffling job titles scrolling in front of them for a full five minutes, so some directors take that opportunity to have a little fun with their end credits. If you look carefully at the right film€™s credits, then, you might just find a tiny cinematic treat. Maybe you€™ll spot a farcical fake name, a humorous disclaimer, or even - in one extreme case €“ a legitimate baking recipe (seriously, that€™s a real thing). If these filmmakers thought nobody would spot their chuckle-inducing chicanery, they were wrong. A good gag hidden in the end credits of a movie can become a sizeable talking point for hardened cinephiles. Perhaps, someone will even write an article about them one day€
