It's hard to look at Rick Moranis in anything and think of him as even remotely menacing, let alone abusive, right? And more to that point, his Wayne Szalinski is at first glance one of the coolest dads ever, because he's an inventor, and a pretty damn good one at that. However, things take a turn for the worse when his shrinking device ends up transforming you into a teeny ant-like version of yourself, who has to try and survive long enough for your dad to turn you back. The same thing happened when Wayne made his son oversized in the unlikely sequel, though at least Wayne was putting himself - as well as the whole town, mind - at risk that time. I can only imagine that having to contend with the terrors of being an inch tall is likely to give you traumatic memories for the rest of your life, so for that psychological torment, Szalinski makes the list of criminal child abusers.
