10. Creep

Creators Patrick Brice and Mark Duplass have talked up a third Creep movie as far back as the release of Creep 2 back in 2017. And following the warm welcome The Creep Tapes - the Shudder TV series exploring a different one of the killer's victims in each episode - received at the end of 2024, hopefully that will be enough to make Creep 3 a reality.

Both Brice and Duplass have said they've got potential stories for Duplass' mysterious maniac for years to come, and it's been stated at several points how there have been a couple of versions of Creep 3 already written. For the duo, it's about making sure the story is right, with the two having previously noted a smidge of disappointment with how Creep 2 ultimately turned out.

While Creep 2 admittedly didn't hit the heights of its predecessor - being good, not great - The Creep Tapes was most certainly a grand return to form, with Josef/Aaron/Bill/Jeff/Whoever at his crazed best, luring in a fresh victim with each episode, with those episodes essentially being the footage that was seen on the ominous VHS tapes glanced at the end of the first Creep.

Given the renewed interest generated by The Creep Tapes, the time has never been as ripe for Creep 3 to finally come to fruition.
