7. Annie - Dashcam

While most of the characters on this list are antagonists of some kind, Dashcam's Annie (Annie Hardy) is actually the movie's protagonist, as made this screenlife horror film so divisive with genre fans.

Annie is a right-wing live-streamer who seemingly loves Donald Trump and hates COVID vaccines, and so director Rob Savage quite provocatively dared audiences to actually try and root for her survival when she ends up on the wrong side of a supernatural presence one night in London.

Even those who like the movie will struggle to admit that they were pulling hard for Annie to make it to the end, and given how easy-to-loathe she's presented as throughout, it wouldn't have surprised anyone if she was brutally killed in the finale.

But no, Annie indeed makes it to the end alive - barely, admittedly - and as if to taunt viewers about this fact, the end credits are even read aloud by her in the form of an obnoxious rap.
