2. Visiting The Cult-Approved Doctor - Rosemary's Baby

Adapted from Ira Levin's novel of the same name, 1968's Rosemary's Baby culminated with Mia Farrow's Rosemary giving birth to the child of Satan.

For Rosemary, she could've nipped this demonic problem in the bud - or at least become aware of it far earlier - if she'd have just stuck to her guns and visited her regular doctor, Dr. Hill. Instead, our headline act opted to follow the advice of her neighbours, the Castevets, in using a Dr. Abraham Sapirstein as her consultant through pregnancy.

Even when Rosemary is displeased with Dr. Sapirstein, she takes the advice of her husband Guy in not going to Dr. Hill for a once-over. Of course, it would be revealed that Guy, Doc Sapirstein and the Castevets are all in on this together - as Rosemary ends up giving birth to the spawn of Satan for the cult that's revealed to be at the centre of Rosemary's Baby.

If only Farrow's character had ignored the advice given to her by her shady neighbours, things could've play out vastly differently for Rosemary Woodhouse - and she wouldn't have ended up having to carry the Devil's baby for nine months!
