2. Jeremiah - Bones

If you haven't seen or heard of this film, that's not surprising, since New Line did pretty much everything in their power to ensure you wouldn't. This is ironic since it's easily one of the best horror films of the early 2000s.

Bones centers around a group of young adults being haunted by the ghost of the eponymous Jimmy Bones, a community leader who was sold out by a business partner to a corrupt cop who wanted to destroy his community by introducing cocaine into it. Worst of all, our protagonist happens to be the son of that very sellout, Jeremiah.

Jeremiah hated where he grew up, so he betrayed his best friend for a shot at living in the suburbs. Worst of all, once there he starts getting all high and mighty, telling his kids all about how he NEVER needed any help to get where he is. He pulled himself up by his bootstraps, worked hard, and all that other rot to mask what he actually did from both his family and himself.

Yeah, needless to say, Bones makes short work of him once he's back, throwing him into the City of the Dead. Dog eat dog indeed, you backstabbing son of a motherless goat.
